Who was the first African-American elected as the President of the Student Government Association (SGA)?

Anthony Foxx '93. In the 1992-93 academic year, Foxx was elected as the President of SGA. Foxx later went on to serve as the Mayor of Charlotte, NC from 2009 to 2013 and as the United States Secretary of Transportation from 2013 to 2017.
