What was the Beaver Club?
The Beaver Club was originally founded in 1926 as a Sophomore honorary club.. In 1936, it changed focus and membership. 12 sophomores and 12 Juniors were elected. The description in the yearbooks says "These leaders in athletics and other extra-curricular activities serve to aid the entertainment of visitors to the college, especially visiting athletic teams." It appears to have ended around 1965. References to the club can likely be found in student yearbook Quips and Cranks.
