How to Do a "Blank Search" in the Davidson Library Catalog

Answer

"Blank searches" let you browse every text of a chosen format and/or language. To do a "blank search," use the library catalog's "advanced search" function. Once you've clicked on "advanced search," follow the below steps:

  1. Select your preferred "material type," language, and date-range from the filters on the left. Select your preferred "search location" on the top.
  2. Type "*" in the search bar (be sure to include the quotations).
